Daniel is a Liverpool based artist, born 1981 in Billinge.

His work is known for its minimalist figurative paintings that draw on Modern day themes such as technology, beauty,
and social experiences. In creating the works for the show Daniel worked on multiple paintings at once, jumping from one to another, adding and subtracting details. And with this body of work, developed several abstract works, bringing figurative drawing elements to abstract art.

Influences include a eclectic range of inspiration from Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake, German painter Penck (Ralph Winkler), Sheffield design studio The Designers Republic, as well as classic artists Basquiat, Picasso, Frida Kahlo, and German expressionists Gabriele Munter, Anita Ree.

Daniel has worked at Gondwana records as a graphic designer for over 15 years, creating minimalist album cover sleeves, wheree often creative ideas spill into paintings and vice versa from paintings into album sleeves.
